I usually cut out a lot of the "bad" foods from my diet and am very strict with these exclusions. Im proud of myself for being that committed (bordering on anal!). Here are the rules I'd like to follow during the year.
Exclude from my diet
- white sugar
- white breads
- Butter
- Mayonnaise and Mayo based sauces
- White rice
- Chocolate
- Fried foods
Include/Increase in my diet
- Salads (mostly for volume - I like big portions in my meals)
- Oatmeal ( I hate this - but eat it like my life depended on it! It has helped stabilize my sugars a lot)
- Soy granules for Protein
Over the course of time you will see my food selection but for the benefit of effective tracking, I'd like to baseline the ideal weight loss diet here, but Im not sure what the numbers should be.

Carbohydrate: ?
Fiber: 23 g - I think
